Fortune Fund Myanmar Company Limited (“Fortune Fund Myanmar”) is the microfinance arm of CDSG. FFMCL runs a dual urban and rural micro-finance program in 98 townships across 9 states and regions.
Originally established in 2013 as Fullerton Finance (Myanmar) Company Limited, the company received its license to operate from the Myanmar Microfinance Supervisory Enterprise in June 2015. Since 24th April 2023, the company has been operating as Fortune Fund Myanmar, a wholly owned subsidiary of CDSG.
Fortune Fund Myanmar strives to be a modern microfinance institution which enables successes and enriches the lives of Myanmar’s under-served communities, micro-entrepreneurs and their families to have a better future through our inclusive financial services.
From its inception, the company has approved and disbursed a total of over MMK 430 billion in loans to over 740,000 clients. Its outstanding loan portfolio is over MMK 27 billion as of May 2023.
