Ford Motor Company, together with Ford Myanmar, today launched the all-new Ford Territory in Myanmar. The new Ford-engineered and designed SUV combines a sleek and stylish look with impressive performance while also offering drivers a suite of smart and safe technologies.
Developed by Ford Motor Company and its joint venture partner Jiangling Motors Corporation, the Ford Territory brings to life the Ford DNA in its design, engineering and capability, following Ford’s highest global quality standards.

Unmistakably Ford
The Territory was conceived by the team at Ford’s Design Studio in Melbourne, Australia and its contemporary appearance and look follow the same design principles of Ford’s family of larger SUVs.
The Ford Territory was also put through its paces by Ford’s testing team at the Geelong Proving Grounds in Melbourne and in Nanjing, China to ensure it not only met Ford’s stringent engineering and quality standards, but also offered superior refinement and ride comfort through exhaustive ride, handling and noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) testing.
Proven Performance
The Ford Territory is powered by a 1.5-litre EcoBoost engine mated to a CVT transmission with Sport mode that delivers 143PS and 225NM of torque, balancing power and fuel efficiency. With this powertrain, customers can enjoy lower service maintenance costs with a once-a-year scheduled service interval for a better ownership experience.
Functional Design, Inside-Out
The Ford Territory boasts an urban-ready design that easily stands out on the road. Standard across both variants are LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, LED tail lamps, auto on/off headlamps with follow-me-home feature, front and rear fog lamps, panoramic moonroof, rear spoiler, and roof rails.
Inside, the Ford Territory offers a premium and refined experience with perforated leather seats, leather steering wheel and leather trimmed centre console with dual-lid opening. There are penth of places for passengers to store their phones, and there are seven cup and bottle holders throughout the cabin. A high-mount USB port and 12-volt power supply helps keep devices charged and connected, while other driver-oriented features include steering wheel mounted controls, power door lock with central locking, speed sensing door locks and a rear view mirror with auto-dimming feature.
Exclusive on the Titanium+ variant are gloss black 18” alloy wheels, chrome inserts on the front grille, rain-sensing front windshield wipers, power folding mirrors, puddle lamps, and chrome exterior door handles.
Titanium+ models also get heated and cooled front seats, a 10-inch fully-digital display instrument cluster with three selectable themes (Normal, Sport, and Fashion), tilt and telescopic steering wheel adjustment, power windows with one touch up/down function on all windows, as well as ambient lighting with seven colour options that complement every mood.
Smart and Safe Technologies
The Ford Territory is equipped with a selection of smart features that elevate the experience behind the wheel. Standard for both variants are the in-vehicle infotainment display powered by a 10-inch touchscreen with adjustable quad view, Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto® compatibility, four USB ports and multiple speakers (eight for the Titanium+ variant and six for the Trend variant). Wireless charging comes exclusive to the Titanium+ variant.
The Territory also offers maximum safety for both drivers and passengers with the Ford Co-Pilot360, a suite of driver-assist technologies available in the Titanium+ variant that include Active Park Assist with parallel-parking and the segment-first perpendicular parking, 360 Degree View Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control with Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Information System and Lane Departure Warning.
Available driver-assist technologies standard in both variants are Electronic Stability Control including ABS, EBD and Traction Control, Hill Launch Assist, , rear parking sensors (front and rear parking sensors available on the Titanium+ variant), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System with individual tyre pressure display. Both variants are also equipped with High Mount Stop Lamp and Child Seat ISOFIX anchor points.
